JMic - Java Simulator of the TGI-Computer

In May-Jul 2002 I took part in the development of the Java simulator of the Am29xx-based TGI-Beispielrechner. It was a project of the Computer Organisation & Parallel Computer Architecture chair of our Informatics Department. Together with Martin von Gagern and Jonas Helming I was responsible for the GUI code, which comprises about one third of the 26K lines of source code.

I don't know when the TGI people intend upgrading to the Java versions (which would be of interest to those who use non-Windows machines) but here's a preview of what it'll look like: JMic.jar. Just "java -jar JMic.jar" should work in >= 1.4.0 Environments. Note that this particular jar uses Martin's simulator core (as of Jul 26) to speed things up a bit and to avoid copyright violations.
